In Crisis or Need Immediate Help?
If you are in danger, at risk of harm, or supporting someone in an emergency, please contact:
- Triple Zero (000): If there is an immediate risk to life, property, or safety, call 000. Emergency services (police, ambulance, and fire) are trained to respond to alcohol or drug-related incidents and mental health crises with care and urgency.
- Lifeline – 13 11 14: Available 24/7 every day of the week. Lifeline provides confidential crisis support and suicide prevention services. Whether you need to talk or simply need someone to listen, they are always there.
- Alcohol and Drug Information Service (ADIS NSW) – 1800 250 015: A 24/7 confidential helpline providing advice, counselling, and referrals for anyone affected by alcohol or other drugs. This includes people using substances, as well as family members and carers.
- Mental Health Line – 1800 011 511: Operated by NSW Health, this line connects you to mental health professionals for support, guidance, and emergency assessment. Available 24/7.
You can also visit your nearest hospital or health centre if you’re in urgent need of medical care or safety.
